Job summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced phlebotomists to join our Phlebotomy team at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and Washwood Heath Community Diagnostic Centre (WWHCDC), part of UHB NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will primarily be based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital on acute medical and surgical wards and will be required to cover shifts at WWHCDC on a rotational basis, with potential cross-site cover as needed for training or service delivery.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will demonstrate a high level of skill and understanding, enabling them to undertake specific tasks delegated by the Phlebotomy Manager or Phlebotomy Coordinator in line with relevant procedures, guidelines, and policies.
