Job summary

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse with a strong clinical background and a keen interest in training, quality and continence management.

This is an exciting opportunity and a newly created post within Corporate Nursing Team. This full-time post whilst sitting within the Quality and assurance team will focus on continence care and getting it right for our patients.

The post holder will work across sites to develop and embed good practice, provide support to clinical teams, develop relationships with community continence services and procurement.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has had recent acute clinical experience.

The post holder must be enthusiastic, motivated, have excellent communication skills to, influence change and embed practice in continence management. You will have a genuine interest in quality improvement, developing teams, and a desire to develop teaching skills and work alongside the clinical teams. The post holder must be self-motivated, have the ability to work unsupervised, have excellent organisational skills a strong team work ethic and evidence of continuous professional development.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as a professional role model delivering a continence programme of care across the organisation.

The post holder will work across site and clinical teams with work base at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.

The post holder will use their knowledge, skills and experience to plan, organise and deliver training associated with continence management

Audit compliance and assurance framework.
