Job summary
We're seeking a forward-thinking, motivated clinician to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Audiologist on a 0.68 WTE basis.
In this role, you'll be supporting and enhancing our adult hearing aid and general adult clinic services, along with managing a caseload of complex adult patients. Working alongside a skilled, supportive team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our adult services and delivery of high-quality care through innovation, leadership, and clinical expertise.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about driving improvement and delivering high-quality hearing care. As a clinical lead, you will maintain and update protocols, provide clinical support, and uphold quality standards within the Audiology service.
The role includes line management, clinical training, departmental leadership, along with opportunities to lead research and innovation projects. We are keen to identify candidates who can demonstrate their ability to adapt in modern healthcare systems.

Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The post holder will work independently as an advanced clinical audiologist, routinely performing the following tasks:
Clinical Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of high-quality adult assessment and rehabilitation services while managing a personal caseload.
* Conduct full assessments of auditory rehabilitation needs for adults with hearing loss--often involving complex pathologies and requiring tailored, innovative treatment plans.
* Perform routine and advanced diagnostic evaluations, using clinical judgment to select appropriate procedures and identify underlying conditions.
* Interpret assessment results to determine diagnoses, recommend treatment options, and decide on referrals to other professionals as needed.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and database entries, documenting observations and test outcomes.
* Prepare detailed audiological reports, offering recommendations based on clinical findings.
* Develop, implement, and manage individualised treatment plans, adjusting follow-up frequency based on case complexity.
* Prescribe, fit, and evaluate hearing aids, counselling patients on their use and adapting plans as required.
