Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Appointments Centre for University Hospitals Birmingham which includes Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital, Queen Elizabeth and Solihull Hospital as a full time Clinic Management Co-Ordinator.
There is one full time position available and working pattern required is Monday to Friday either 10am till 6pm or 12pm till 8pm. Evening cover is required outside of core working hours.
During training periods hours may been to be amended to ensure efficient training is complete.
Working in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient clerical support service
The job role incudes complex building, rescheduling and cancelling outpatient clinic templates for QE, Good Hope, Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals on the trust PAS system, according to instructions received from numerous specialities, adhering to policies and protocols in place. The role also includes room bookings for outpatient clinics based on site, and clinical availability.
Main duties of the job
The job role incudes building, rescheduling and cancelling outpatient clinic templates for QE, Good Hope, Heartlands, Solihull Hospital and Community sites on the Trust Oceano computer system, according to instructions received from numerous specialties, adhering to policies and protocols in place.

The successful candidate will be part of a Team, coordinating clinic change requests received from all Specialties across all UHB hospital sites, adhering to the policies and protocols in place to be able to action the requests in a timely manner and must have excellent knowledge of Oceano, ERS, ERHA, and Partial Booking Worksheets and be able to efficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel.
