Job summary
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic, organised people to join the ward clerk team at Heartlands Hospital. There are 3 posts available: 2 full-time and 1 part-time 11.5 hours. The successful candidates would provide administrative support to a ward being the first point of contact to all users of the wards.
Main duties of the job
Greeting Patients, visitors and staff
Updating Oceano system with admissions/transfers/discharges
Booking appointments
Liaising with staff/relatives
Answering phones/buzzers
Lifting/carrying patient notes
Filing notes
Requesting/booking outpatient notes via Case note tracking
