Job summary
This is an opportunity to Join our dynamic and supportive ENT and Urology Surgical Ward, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll care for patients with ENT and urology emergency surgical procedures, developing specialist knowledge in two diverse and complex surgical areas.

Main duties of the job
Are you a compassionate, motivated nurse ready to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care? We are looking for Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with patients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team. As a registered nurse, you will manage a caseload, take charge of shifts when required, and supervise junior staff and students.
This role involves working across a variety of settings, maintaining professional standards, safeguarding patients, and supporting safe and timely discharges. You will play a key role in ensuring clinical documentation is accurate and complete, promoting infection prevention, and contributing to continuous improvement and service development.
We are seeking individuals with excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to work under pressure. You must be registered with the NMC and have experience in an acute care setting (including student placements). A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to delivering care aligned with our Trust values -- Kind, Connected, Bold -- is essential.
