Job summary

Position Overview: We are seeking a Catering Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a chilled environment where temperatures range from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and be committed to maintaining high standards of work in line with food safety legislation.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

*Handling, sorting, and picking products in a chilled environment.

*Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the main catering department at Solihull Hospital

*Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and Food Safety Legislation

Requirements:

*Ability to work in temperatures between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius.

*Previous experience in Catering or similar environment is preferred but not essential.

*Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.

*Good physical condition, capable of standing and moving for extended periods.
