Job summary

Solihull Community Podiatry are a small but dynamic team based at Chelmsley Wood Primary Care Centre, currently recruiting for a Community Podiatry Administrator.

The administration team provide comprehensive, effective and efficient support for the Community Podiatry service across the Solihull borough and within UHB hospitals, ensuring patients are scheduled into correct clinics using the criteria set by the clinical speciality and identifying capacity shortfalls.

This post is 20hours 25mins a week to include the following days and times;

Monday 9:15 - 14:30

Tuesday 9:15 - 14:15

Thursday 9:15 - 14:15

Friday 9:15 - 14:15

Main duties of the job

The overall activities of the post holder include, but are not limited to;

- Providing an efficient and professional administrative service

- Undertake data input, accurately inputting data using a variety of Trust IT systems in a timely way

- Communicating with patients and coordinating appointments

- Answering the telephone and taking messages, deal with them in a timely and efficient way and refer as appropriate

- Arrange meetings as and when required

- Receive and open incoming post and take action as required

- Review and action electronic correspondence and disseminate as appropriate
