Role Overview:

*Senior support role in delivering the Trust's Digital Healthcare Programme

*12-month fixed-term position (maternity cover)

*Focus on Business Analysis and Change IT Service Request coordination

Key Responsibilities:

*Process and coordinate Digital Healthcare change requests

*Organise, facilitate, and monitor Business Analysis and Change activities

*Liaise with requestors and review new requests

*Support resourcing activities with BACM Managers

*Utilise IT Service Management, Project, and Planner tools

*Organise and minute team, project, and management meetings

*Maintain team document library and Standard Operating Procedures

Main duties of the job

The role of IT Business Change Senior Support Officer involves supporting business change initiatives within the organisation. The main duties include:

*Facilitating Business Change: Assisting in the implementation of IT-driven business change projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

*Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and manage expectations.

*Project Coordination: Supporting project delivery by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

*Training and Support: Providing training and guidance to staff on new systems or processes introduced through business change initiatives.

*Problem-Solving: Addressing issues that arise during project implementation and finding solutions to ensure smooth transitions.

Core Deliverables and Daily Expectations

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

*Deliver measurable improvements in business processes through IT-enabled solutions.

*Ensure effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

*Monitor project milestones and report progress regularly.

*Provide ongoing support for systems post-implementation, ensuring they meet user needs.

*Maintain documentation related to business change activities, including process maps, user guides, and training materials.

  • *Business Admin level 4/5 or equivalent to degree level

Experience

  • *Relevant demonstrable experience within an ICT NHS environment in a support capacity
  • *Experience of supporting a multi-disciplinary EPR/Business Change team
  • *Writing and preparing Business Change documentation

  • *A good general understanding and knowledge of ICT systems

  • *Good level of personal and team organisation
  • *Full understanding of the NHS Information Governance and GDPR policies.
