Job summary

An opportunity has risen, for a Nurse, who has an intrest in Tuberculosis to join the multi-disciplinary team (Birmingham & Solihull TB Service).

The successfull candidate will case manage a caseload of patients and associated outbreaks, part of a geographic patch of the region.

Full support and training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

This post is open to either adult or paediatric trained nurse. Transferrable skills such as working in the coomunity, or managing hospitalised patients with respiratory and/or infectious diseases are useful for transferrable skills.

  • *Professional Registration with NMC (E)
  • *Degree or equivalent (E)
  • *Teaching & Mentoring qualification (E)

Desirable

  • *Non-Medical Prescribing Course (D)

Experience

  • *Minimum of 3 years' relevant post registration experience (E)
  • *Evidence of on-going CPD (E)
  • *Evidence of teaching in a variety of environments (E)
