Job summary
An opportunity has arisen in the Research Development and Innovation Directorate to support the merger and expansion of the Trusts R&D service.
The post holder will play a key role in development and implementation of the financial tracking and monitoring of research activities across all of the Trusts sites. This will involve in helping with costing & contracting for Research activity and ensuring research activity is invoiced for in a timely manner, dealing with queries associated with this and facilitating research teams to understand the research processes. This will involve working closely with staff involved in the wider invoicing process such as Finance, Governance Team and Senior R&D Management to ensure accurate reporting and review of activity.
The post holder will have knowledge of the Trusts finance systems.
The post holder must possess excellent communications skills and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as working in a team environment. They must have a flexible approach to this growing post and department. The post holder will need to communicate to a range of staff groups and tailor information to ensure it is easily understood. This post will be based at both the Heartlands and QE sites, but will be required to travel between all Trust sites.
