Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical trials study co-ordinator to join our team to work on the Generation Project. The post is for 12 months providing a unique opportunity to be involved with this exciting newborn screening research programme that has the potential to change clinical practice. The post requires an individual who has confidence to speak to pregnant patients and their partners. Training on the project will be given, but you need to be able to work autonomously and manage a case load of patients and adapt to change quicky. You will also need to be able to support the ward and wider research team with obtaining, processing and shipping samples. The role includes close liaison with clinicians, data managers, sponsors, research and development, outpatient and inpatient staff. The role also requires someone who has advanced IT literacy skills to help improve and support the wider research team and management of the project.
