We are recruiting for Radiographers graduating in 2025, or experienced radiographers looking to join our exceptional team at UHB.
With over 100 staff providing world class radiotherapy treatment, the service is of the highest calibre ensuring exemplary patient care is given to over 300 patients per day.

Successful applicants will be joining a team that delivers one of the highest percentages of IG-IMRT treatments in the U.K and treats a large number of SABR patients for all commissioned indications. Our breast patients are treated with SGRT, & DIBH is offered to all appropriate patients who have left sided breast cancer.We are one of two leading centres delivering radiotherapy for paediatrics in the Midlands that specialises in SGRT, intensity-modulated TBI& CSRT.
In addition, we are also a reference site for VisionRT and Accuray.
Main duties of the job
Whether direct from qualifying, or joining us with experience, you will be supported and developed to enable you to confidently manage a clinical workload ensuring that all treatments and procedures are delivered safely and correctly whilst maintaining high standards of technical ability and patient care.
You will join a Radiography team under the supervision of Senior Radiographers and deliver radiotherapy treatment using highly specialist equipment whilst providing information, education, practical and emotional support to patients and carers during their radiotherapy journey.
We have a variety of specialised equipment including two Phillips CT scanners, CyberKnife, two Tomotherapy HD units, Radixact, HDR, and six Elekta linear accelerators all of which have AlignRT installed. You will have opportunities to be rotated throughout the various treatment rooms we have.
All new staff will have a flexible approach to working hours to accommodate service demands as there is a requirement to routinely cover extended day working Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 8pm and occasional bank holidays and weekends.
