Job summary

We are looking for an exceptional and dedicated communications professional to join our friendly and supportive team, to provide communications and engagement support at Solihull Hospital. You will be involved in delivering a wide range of exciting communications and engagement projects, with the aim of improving the experiences of our patients and colleagues at Solihull Hospital and across the wider organisation.

Main duties of the job

The communications assistant will support the operational delivery of key tasks and projects. They will implement communication and engagement plans and/or interventions, that are designed to provide high-quality and consistent outputs, encourage key enabling relationships with stakeholders, remove barriers and improve the experience of patients and colleagues.

The role will broadly involve supporting with external communication, internal communication, digital communication, engagement and events related tasks.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, be comfortable to work under pressure, be able to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships and the ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
