Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Cancer Services team at Solihull Hospital's Chemotherapy Satellite Pharmacy. Main duties of the job

As part of our forward-thinking Cancer Services team, you will:

*Coordinate workflow in the Cancer Services Pharmacy Satellite, ensuring daily key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

*Supervise training, health and safety procedures, and stock management processes.

*Act as a role model, ensuring the timely, accurate, and cost-effective dispensing of medication.

To excel in this role, you will have:

*A nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

*An accredited accuracy checking qualification.

*Significant experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.

*Proven ability to lead and motivate a busy team.

*A flexible approach to accommodate service needs, including participation in evening, weekend, and bank holiday rotations.
