An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and dynamic individual to join the expanded neuroscience pharmacy team, leading on neuromedicine at UHB.
The post holder will lead and coordinate the development, delivery and evaluation of neuromedicine services and will further develop, deliver and evaluate the service to support the medicines optimisation agenda.
Main duties of the job
Together with the pharmacy team, and as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will work to provide excellent clinical specialised clinical pharmacy service to neuromedicine within the neuroscience service.
You will work with the neuroscience pharmacy team to drive forward our wider clinical pharmacy service for the future. You will support the wider medicines optimisation strategy and clinical governance processes within pharmacy.
Working with the lead pharmacist team and pharmacy operational team you will ensure provision of the clinical pharmacy service to wards with the potential to work cross-site.
You will act as a role model for junior and foundation trainee pharmacists with line management or designated supervisor duties.
