You'll be working in a supportive and friendly office environment under the supervision of our People Administrative and People Advisory teams. We'll provide you with the learning and development opportunities you'll need to build your knowledge of employment procedures as you work towards the CIPD Level 3 HR Apprenticeship Standard. Main duties of the job

The main administrative duties of the role will be to support the activity of People Advisory Services. Using your proficient organisational and IT skills, these will include undertaking minutes of meetings, preparing transcripts from recordings of formal HR meetings, producing references and employment letters for staff, handling daily post and various filing, scanning and data entry tasks. You will also support the telephone and email service by providing confidential, customer-focused and accessible advice in response to routine HR queries, including terms and conditions of employment and the application of Trust policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to use your own initiative and analytical skills to research enquiries; however, you will also work under the supervision of senior colleagues and escalate complex enquiries as required. These duties will be undertaken whilst you work towards the CIPD Level 3 HR Apprenticeship Standard and you will be granted a weekly study day.   • *Good General Education - English and Maths at Level 2 grade A-C or 4-9
  • *Eligible for entry to the HR Apprenticeship Standard -- HR Support

Experience

Essential

  • *Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
  • *Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook)
  • *Experience of using IT systems
  • *Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
  • *Knowledge of administrative systems/ office procedures acquired through on the job training.
  • *Basic knowledge and understanding of the role of HR

Desirable

  • *Experience of working in Healthcare
  • *Recent experience of administrative duties
