Job summary

Heartlands Hospital Acute Medicine are looking for a keen Administrative Assistant to provide full administrative support for several busy clinical areas; Ward 19, Same Day Assessment Unit and Medical Assessment Unit. These departments are very busy and provide initial care and treatment for patients who are admitted to hospital.

The successful candidate's primary role will be supporting the senior nursing team within these areas. You will be the first point of contact for staff, answering enquiries, managing email traffic, following up enquiries as appropriate, coordinating recruitment and supporting new starters whilst maintaining digital records. You will need meticulous administrative and data entry skills, a flexible approach, and lots enthusiasm and good customer service skills.

Records within these areas are digitalised and therefore the successful candidate must have excellent computer skills specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

This is a full-time post, but flexible working and part time hours can be considered.
