Job summary
We are looking for one fulltime member of staff to provide administration cover a 7.5 hour shift 5 days a week for the GP practice opening times from 08.00 - 18.30 Monday - Friday.
We need a candidate who has excellent communication skills, calm under pressure, well organised and has a keen eye for detail. Ideally looking for someone with administration skills and good I.T knowledge. Experience of working in a GP practice is not essential but would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be joining a hardworking, contentious, dedicated team of receptionists.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries to the Practice so excellent communication skills are key.
You will also be responsible for all patient related data, including booking appointments, managing referrals, scanning and receiving post, processing routine bloods, triaging administration related queries received via the electronic referral system. Managing incoming and out going practice e-mails.
