Job summary
An exciting venture to deliver procurement and supply chain services to five NHS organisations is now open to applicants.
The purpose of this role is to provide a procurement and supply chain function to assist in the delivery of the vision, business plans, day to day operations and financial and quality targets of the BSOL PC.
The combined turnover of the five organisations (University Hospitals Birmingham, Birmingham Women's & Children's NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust) is over 3.5 billion with non-pay spend of circa 1.5 million.
The successful candidate will have well-developed procurement experience, contract management skills and the ability to provide direction, influence and persuade.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for the role in order to build professional relationships, implement change and support with the delivery of operational requirements.
Our award-winning Procurement team are based at Regent Court, near Five Ways island in central Birmingham. Our newly refurbished offices have excellent transport links as well as hybrid working opportunities.
