Job summary
This is a rare opportunity to join the UHB maternity education team. The successful post holder will be supported with development opportunities and be instrumental in service and practice development, impacting on improved outcomes for our women and families.
The post holder will collaborate with the multi professional team to delivery education and training in a clinical and classroom based setting. Supporting the implementation and delivery of national drivers, ambitions and recommendations.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Lead on multi-disciplinary training at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust
Provide strong, visible and effective clinical and managerial leadership as part of the maternity senior leader's team.
Provide clinical and educational support for all levels of midwifery, medical and support staff and maintain accurate records on the Trust training database.
Contribute to the multi-disciplinary clinical audit and governance activities. The post holder will assist with the review of published evidence including relevant national, regional and local reports.
Be a first line manager of a small team within the Professional development and education (PDE) work stream
