Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity available for someone to join our friendly team West 2.
A position has become available for 12-month secondment on ward West 2.
The right applicant will be friendly, have good communication skills, organised and the ability to work within the team.
We require applicant to be flexible, reliable and hardworking, be able to use their own initiative when working under pressure.
This role is physically demanding and also patient facing.
Main duties of the job
Your duties will include, but are not limited to;
You will be responsible for general appearance of the ward. Ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Marinating strict standards in line with infection control and health and safety.
Ensuring equipment is in clean and working order. Reporting repairs as required.
You will be monitoring, ordering and ensuring correct storage of essential stock. This also includes ensuring adequate supplies of personal protective equipment.
You may be involved in audits.
Working alongside Catering team.

- *Evidence of Level 2 on both Maths & English qualifications (CSE Grade 1/ GCSE Grades 4-9 or A* -C / Level 2 Functional Skills / O Level grade A-C / Level 2 National Certificate / Level 2 National Diploma / Level 2 ESOL)
- *Evidence of completion of Level 3 Qualification or above in Health / Social Care or Hospitality & Catering (BTEC/ CACHE Level 3 Award / Level 3 Certificate or Diploma) or 2 A levels or equivalent experience of working in the NHS in a patient/public facing role in health / care or hospitality & catering.
- *Evidence of completion of training associated with employment in a role associated with health / care / hospitality or catering i.e.: Customers service/ Food Hygiene / Care Certificate/ Health & Safety i.e., COSHH.
