Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary Outpatient Frailty and Neuro team. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Stroke and Neuro Therapy Team. Do you enjoy delivering high quality care to patients at risk of falls alongside treating patients with neurological conditions? Then this is the job for you!

You will be based on the Heartlands Hospital site, though may have opportunity to work across sites. You will have the opportunity to further develop skills in falls, frailty, rehabilitation and Neurological conditions. There will also be an opportunity to support and deliver care on the Vestibular pathway. This will support the Trust's strategy of admission avoidance and the SDEC (same day emergency care) pathway.

We are a large and vibrant Therapy Team providing high quality Inpatient and Outpatient services from our hospital sites. We have a strong emphasis on staff development and learning, with excellent support and a robust supervision structure in place.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard occupational therapy service across the Outpatient Neuro, Falls and Frailty service.

To use your specialist technical skills to assist in the assessment and treatment of your own caseload consisting of Falls, Frailty and Neurological patients. You will be working alongside specialist therapists who will be able to support your development.

The caseload is varied and will be a variety of settings -- Outpatient clinics and community visits.
