Band 3 Medical Secretary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated band 3 medical secretary to work 30 hours per week to join our friendly secretarial team within the Haematology Department based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham to cover 12 months maternity leave.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who relishes a challenge and is keen to use their own initiative. The successful candidates will be required to be a key member of the Secretarial Team, providing a professional and high quality secretarial and administrative service at all times.
We are looking for someone with medical secretarial experience, a good knowledge of medical terminology and someone who is a team player but has the initiative to complete their individual tasks in a timely manner. We would like the successful candidate to be pro-active, approachable, and supportive to both patients and colleagues, to have a conscientious approach to their work, and ability to demonstrate administrative experience and be able to meet the main duties of the role as identified in the job description.
You must possess excellent organizational skills and be experienced in dealing with confidential information.
