Band 5 Urology Staff Nurse
We are looking for dynamic and motivational registered nurses to become a member of the Urology Specialist Nursing team.
Ideally you will have some urological experience although this is not essential.
The post offers a superb opportunity to develop skills in caring for patients requiring investigations and treatments within the urology outpatient setting.
The post holder will work within the Urology Nurse Specialist Team. The post will predominately be based at Good Hope Urology Treatment area, in the outpatient setting. There may be some cross site working depending on service requirements.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be a team player, and be able to prioritise your workload. Applicants must have a flexible approach to work patterns.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will practice autonomously and be responsible and accountable for safe, compassionate person centred evidence based nursing that respects and maintains dignity and human rights. They will be responsible for assessment of care needs of patients and planning programmes of care, implementation and the evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision. At times they will have management responsibility for being in charge of department and supervising junior members of staff. The post holder will provide care to patients attending the Urology department for diagnostic interventions within the outpatient setting.
