Job summary

If so we are looking for people like you to work across our Theatres as a Theatre Support Worker.
We would like to meet you and ensure that you are supported through the process. You will be invited to attend an introductory welcome session and number of supported activities, with an informal Interview, this will be held on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at various times, you will be informed of your specific arrival time. No alternative date can be offered for this advert.
As we are a 24/7 service you will need to work days, Nights, weekends, Bank Holidays and on calls. These posts are full time and part time maybe available.
Candidates will need to undertake and pass the BKSB functional skills test before interview these will be booked for 16th & 23rd January 2024.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 2 Theatre support worker you should be motivated, have a keen interest in the peri-operative environment and excellent communication skills. No experience is required for this post as full training and support will be given.
All new starters are supported in their work area by the theatre clinical education team as well as the theatres teams themselves.

You will be required to cover a range of shifts, which will include weekends, bank holidays, early/late/night duty, and the out of hours on call services.
