The Document Control and Audit/Quality Officer will be a key member of the team managing the document aspirations of the department. You will join the team at an exciting point where we adopt new ways to manage information across the Trust. You will be involved in the governance of directorate's policies processes against our ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certificate. You will also join the audit team and become an internal auditor.

Main duties of the job
*Mainly based at home with some onsite working across the Birmingham and Solihull areas you will lead Trust personnel through the document control process. You will assist colleagues in creating and managing their documents, ensuring they are always up to date, approved and current.
*Undertake audits (both internal and external) as part of the departments audit team against the ISO 9001:2015 for Quality and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for Information Security standards.
*Lead the compliance teams document control process and assist in other areas such as complaints, risks, non-conformance and opportunities to improve.
*Produce management information around document management for the departments management review, identifying trends, good and poor practices.
Working throughout the Trust and with colleagues from many different roles, you'll be expected to use your great communication skills to capture insights and turn them into improvements.
You'll use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to turn opportunities into deliverables.
The department is aligned to ITIL, Agile and PRINCE 2 methodologies.
