Job summary
The Infrastructure Lifecycle Management Team is responsible for ensuring that the Trusts IT infrastructure is continuously refreshed, modernised and is supportable by the appropriate 3rd party vendors.
We are looking to build a team to utilise and implement methodologies and plans to facilitate the delivery of the lifecycle change programme. Furthermore to build professional relationships, implement change and provide subject matter expertise to avoid operational and Cyber impact where changes are made to the infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will;
Have a proven background in a similar role
Have a deep understanding of IT processes, systems and infrastructure
Possess strong analytical skills
Be proactive
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced person to join our Infrastructure Lifecycle Management team and focus on the following;
To support the Head of Infrastructure Lifecycle Management with the delivery of the overall Programme of Works
To Deputise for the Head of Infrastructure Lifecycle Management as and when required
To provide day to day support and guidance to the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management Programme Manager and Senior Managers within the team
To evaluate and enhance the operations within the team
Identify areas of improvement implement necessary changes to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management team
Assess and evaluate existing IT systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Conduct regular audits to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
Analyze data and generate reports to track and measure the effectiveness of the continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to suggest innovative solutions and improvements.
Ensure the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management team is compliant with internal Information Governance, Security and Auditability
