Job summary
The Continual Service Improvement (CSI) Team works as part of the IT Service Delivery function to identify and execute opportunities to make IT processes and Services better, and to objectively measure the effects of these efforts over time.
As an essential part of the CSI function, the purpose of the Digital Implementation Analyst role is to provide a point of contact and liaison for all related Continual Service Improvement activities, including process mapping, measurement, and optimisation.
The post holder will be responsible for providing technical resolutions or guidance, investigation, measurement, and documentation of processes, the evaluation of potential solutions and/or improvements to these processes, and the implementation and installation of those software and hardware solutions.
The post holder will also take an active role in the Trust's Problem Management process, as a member of the core Problem Management team.
Encompassing all necessary local and offsite Trust site locations and working with colleagues on all levels from entry to Board, as directed, the post holder will provide a combination of desk based remote and field-based support as required.
Main duties of the job
To work under the direction of the CSI Manager, using Business Analysis techniques to a quantify, measure, and document selected processes, procedures, and systems across the Trust.
To gather and analyse information from colleagues and direct investigation, using Business Analysis techniques to propose, develop, and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and systems.
To arrange, attend, and chair meetings with Trust colleagues and representatives from external third-party entities.
To produce and maintain clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
To maintain a high-level knowledge of and familiarity with the use of Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 tools.
To use initiative to plan and prioritise all activities, tasks, meetings, and site visits around the ongoing CSI workload.
To provide a professional, efficient, and reliable Customer Service.
To assess and measure the ongoing viability and effectiveness of CSI-implemented solutions.
To take an active role in the installation of hardware and software implemented by the CSI team.
To take an active role in the implementation of the ITIL-based Problem Management process within the trust, as part of the core Problem Management team.
The post holder may be required undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Trust's objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.
