Job summary
We have new vacancies for enthusiastic Porters to join our Trust. Candidates must be 18. Working a rotating shift pattern, five days over seven, you will join a team responsible for the effective delivery of the in-house Portering service.
This is extremely rewarding, hands on and physically demanding job within a large and busy hospital, so you must enjoy walking and be comfortable being on your feet for long periods of time. You also need to be confident talking with patients as you are going about your day-to-day tasks and be prepared to go that extra mile at times..

Main duties of the job
Delivery of high-class service of moving patients safely and in a timely fashion within the trust, the department duties include
Patient moves, specimen pickups, furniture moves, blood transport medical gas delivery.
