Job summary
We are looking for a high functioning administrative assistant to join our Solihull Community Nursing Team, we are offering 2 posts 1 to work with our locality team and the other to work with our tissue viability service. We are looking for an individual who is kind, caring and compassionate, able to uphold the trust values and display this when interacting with both patients and team members.
Community nursing teams help to provider invaluable services to people in their homes.
The tissue viability team offer expert support and advise to patients with all types of wounds, including surgical, diabetic wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers. It is essential that patients are able to access these services in a timely manner and the admin role will be essential to supporting our patient in accessing services.
Main duties of the job
You will perform a key role in the team supporting patients to services. Ensuring that nursing activities are booked efficiently for our teams and ensuring that the service is running seamlessly. You will be required to work closely with colleagues and service users so good communication skills is essential. We are looking for someone business admin level 3 or equivalent experience. Good communications will be key to this role as you will be required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. You will need to be able to organise your own workload. We will require the successful candidate to have excellent IT skills and must be able to analyse and extract data.
