Job summary

Great opportunity to join the Logistics Department to undertakes the responsibility of providing a service to

University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust stakeholders.

Logistics provides an effective and professional service delivering ongoing cost efficiencies and benefits in line with Trust and customer objectives.

As a member of the Logistics team you will be required to adopt a flexible approach towards any Logistics activities undertaken including assisting in the management and maintenance of stock control processes.

The posts at this level contain a range of tasks, some of which require the exercise of initiative whilst operating within broad procedural guidelines and requires a degree of independent judgement.

Hours for this post will be between 06:00 -- 20:00

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the daily upkeep and management of all electronic and manual stock records for Medical/ Surgical and Pharmacy portfolios held in the Trust.

Ensure that all products classified as "Critical" are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure seamless stock continuity.

The post holder will produce KPI data relating to supplier performance, stock turns, stock management, stock outs, write offs, supply issues or as specifically requested by their line manager or a member of the Senior Management Team.
