Division 6 is currently hiring across specialist including Ward 518 Infectious Disease /Acute Medicine

We are seeking an enthusiastic band 5 qualified Nurse with a passion for nursing. We thrive on sharing our knowledge and training junior members of staff and students. You will work closely with the nursing team and across the MDT.

We are extremely passionate about getting it right for patients and their families and in order to achieve this we are looking to employ enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate band 5 registered nurse. As a member of our team, you will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary teams.

We have Full time positions for Band 5 Qualified nurses with any amount of experience.

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Registered or soon to qualified adult nurses to come and join our amazing nursing teams in infectious disease / Acute Medical Nursing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This is an opportunity to join a growing and developing team, dedicated to delivering compassionate person-centred care and to play a key role in innovation and transformation.

The workload throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same. The successful candidate must be dynamic, possess excellent communication skills and have a high sense of professionalism and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.

We have senior staff support across the ward to support during your clinical shifts. As a management team our focus is to support and allow for development as a band 5 staff nurse with the opportunity to undertake extra professional development.

As a new member of the team, despite how much training you have had in the past, you will be fully supported by our dedicated clinical education team, allowing you to build on your existing nursing skills for your career . We have full and part time positions available and offer a range of long and short days and support flexible working.
