This post is based in the HR Administration team and will be the first point of contact for the Employee Relations team, who support Trust Managers in respect of HR case work including disciplinary, grievance and sickness cases. The HR Assistant role will be responsible for various administrative tasks including: Audio typing, transcripts, arrangement of formal hearings/meetings and providing general day-to-day support to colleagues/advisors.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer-service skills, the ability to work alone, as well as excellent attention to detail. The post holder will also have up to date knowledge of Microsoft Office (to include as a minimum, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). Experience in a customer facing role and previous experience of using computerised systems would be an advantage. You must be result focused, resilient and able to work to multiple, tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Previous experience of audio typing is desirable as excellent typing/word processing skills with speed and accuracy is important. The team manages a highly confidential workload and hence your ability to maintain this and deal with situations in a sensitive manner is essential.
