Job summary
As part of the UHB Renal Technical team you will be working within one of the largest renal dialysis programs in Europe. You will be key part of a dedicated team of specialised engineers responsible for ensuring the delivery of a quality technical service across all areas of our renal service. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver a service we would want for ourselves encouraging a "can do" attitude and a keenness to go the extra mile.
We are looking for a engineer looking to push themselves to the next level, develop their engineering knowledge while building a deep understanding within a specialist medical discipline.
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, pro-active team player with a "can do" attitude; they will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational/communication skills and possess strong problem solving mid set.
The post holder will be required to adopt a flexible approach to the working week, participation in our on-call rota providing a 24hr/365day a year emergency technical cover to our service will be mandatory after a qualifying period.

Main duties of the job
Assist in the operation of the technical department, visit patients within their homes to undertake microbiological sampling and perform miner system repairs where needed.
