Reporting to the Associate Director, you will provide daily operational leadership to the One Bromley place partnership to ensure the safe and effective delivery of urgent health and care services to our population across winter 2023/24.
This is a high-profile role requiring a strong understanding of NHS and social care operational processes, including the OPEL and formal incidents frameworks, as well as national requirements for system delivery through winter. You will be responsible for initiating and ending formal incidents, making your recommendations to directors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our system winter plan and using it to respond to expected and unexpected demand pressures.
To succeed in this role you will rapidly build strong collaborative working relationships with senior clinicians, operational managers and directors across the borough. You will use these alongside existing system processes to identify current and future pressure points in the system, negotiate and communicate immediate remedial actions, and track those actions to execution. Where you judge it necessary you will actively involve yourself in the delivery of those actions to support the best possible care for the people of Bromley.
