Field Care Supervisor
£24000 - £28000 including weekend and antisocial hours allowance
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for the ongoing support of both Caregivers and service users, ensuring delivery of the highest quality care services and living up to the excellent company reputation in the community.This role will require a great deal of flexibility and you will need to be focused in achieving the company goals and targets.
Field Care Supervisors are expected to spend the majority of their working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but their role will typically also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work.

Main duties of the job
- Providing hands on expertise in the delivery of high-quality person centred care to service users in their own homes in accordance with their support plan. Attending care visits to cover holidays, sick absence, and in an emergency.
- Carry out initial risk and needs assessments in respect of individual service users, either in the service user's home or, where required, in other settings such as hospitals or residential/nursing homes. Ensure personalised care planning is in place and true to the service user's needs and requirements
- Work in partnership with service users, their family, carers, advocates, healthcare professionals and others to ensure the seamless delivery of holistic packages of individual care support.
- Act on feedback/concerns from service users and communicate appropriately with the rest of the business.
- Maintaining appropriate records to meet the needs of the service, observing and promptly reporting changes or concerns in your service user's circumstances and condition, and act appropriately when these changes arise.
- Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of "Good" in CQC inspections. Ensure all services are compliant with legislations, CQC standards, regulations and company and local authority's requirement

- Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered. Taking action to make improvements if necessary.
- On-board/shadow new Caregivers in the field.
- To assess the competency of Caregivers completing the care certificate to meet the companys recruitment needs. Ensuring all Caregivers are competent to carry out their job roles.
- To ensure training needs of all Caregivers are met effectively implement, identify and provide for on-going training.
- Act on feedback/concerns from service users and communicate appropriately with the rest of the business.
- Monitor and assess all service users for customer satisfaction.
- On-call duties - Available to work evenings and alternate weekend and provide cover for care calls or on-call duties as and when required by the business.
- Promoting service users health and wellbeing, independence and enabling them to live their life to the fullest.
- Treating service users with dignity and respect, communicating effectively to meet their diverse needs.
- Maintaining appropriate records to meet the needs of the service, observing and promptly reporting changes or concerns in your service users circumstances and condition, and act appropriately when these changes arise.
