We require a dedicated, compassionate NMC Registered Nursing Associate, must have the specific Foundation Degree,
Be inquisitive and enthusiastic about Continence Management and is able to work autonomously
This role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route
To work independently with competence within specific nursing holistic tasks and knowledge requiring abroad range of theoretical and practical learning,
Prioritising work in line with policies and procedures
Setting/Area Cover home setting, including residential, nursing homes and clinics
Educational opportunities linked to role and the scope of Continence Management, this is a pivotal role requiring you to work collaboratively with the Continence Specialists Nurses, wider MDT and our patient community
Promoting the highest standards of care in line with the latest guidance, research and information
With appropriate information to help support of our Continence Specialist Nurses, there is much that patients can do to help themselves in the management and control of their condition
This role will require you to support with educating our patients to self care, in the management and control of their condition, provide advice and support is now at the forefront of care

Main duties of the job
The Nursing Associate (NA) will work as part of a team delivering therapeutic intervention, health and social care that focuses on the direct needs of the patients/service users. They will carry out specific planned clinical tasks, such as initial holistic assessments and risk assessments, bladder scanning, health promotion, catheterisation, make clinically sound decisions regarding pad use and responsibilities to facilitate, assessment, treatment, planning and evaluation of patients in a specific clinical team.
The Nursing Associate works independently to provide a high quality of nursing and social care under the leadership of registered nurses and registered practitioners.Applying specialist evidence-based knowledge of principles and procedures within a specific field of healthcare.
NA have undertaken a broad range of theoretical and practical learning regarding healthcare and wellbeing to Foundation Degree level
Demonstrate and apply knowledge of the scope of practice of the AP role within own clinical settings.
The post holder can deliver elements of health and social care and undertake clinical work in the domains that have previously only been within the remit of registered professionals. The role at times may transcend professional boundaries.
The NA will have a level of autonomy and accountability to make decisions around patient care and refer on to other professionals where required.
To be responsible for own clinical practice, caseload management and workload.
