As an organisation Livewell Southwest is gaining national and international attention for the work that it does, providing a unique and growing range of services in the Southwest of England.

This post is a developmental position, providing access to training across all disciplines within a salaried service setting of special care, oral surgery, paediatrics and urgent care. This includes the provision of general anaesthetic and sedation services. A positive approach is essential as well as the ability to strike a rapport with people who may find dental services daunting. Our service offers and excellent clinical working environment with a range of bespoke clinical equipment and computerised clinical information system.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and undertaken by Plymouth Community Dental Services Ltd.

This encompasses services for patients with a wide variety of special needs (including medically compromised), children, dental phobics, paediatrics, patients requiring minor oral surgery (MOS) and urgent care for those members of the community who have been unable to access treatment with an NHS General Dental Practitioner.

This is an ideal role for a clinician wishing to experience a range of dental disciplines and undertake training and development within a salaried service setting.
