We are seeking an experienced Practice Facilitator to help steer, drive, support and deliver service improvement within the Mental Health, Learning Disability and Neurodiversity (MHLDN) & Wellbeing Services directorate in Livewell Southwest.

The Practice Facilitator role is linked directly to the development of
clinical and leadership
competencies for staff groups across, but not limited to the Community
Nursing teams.
The Practice Facilitator role be involved in design, implementation,
and delivery of training.
This will include classroom-based teaching, simulation and situational
learning.
This person will have all the clinical competencies in place to be able
to develop the skill and knowledge of the staff groups. The post holder provides support to
the clinical nursing staff to underpin the principles of evidence-based practice and quality
in professional practice development.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the practice facilitator and training team, you will
collaborate closely with the Practice Lead for Nursing and the Deputy Head of Training. Your
responsibilities will include delivering training sessions, ensuring staff competency, and
offering assistance when other team members are unavailable.
To work within the scope of the code of professional practice as per
your profession and Livewell Southwest policies
To maintain key working relationships with managers, service heads and
leads, and other staff with the purpose of maintaining credibility and visibility of the
role.
Establish and uphold proactive connections with various development and
training providers, including Livewell Southwest Network, NHS Trusts, Plymouth
City Council, as well as private/voluntary sector stakeholders, considering any
integration agreements.
The post holder may be required to work within their scope of practice
across the organisation should the need arise, for example, in a pandemic
situation.
As part of your role there will be occasional requirement to draw upon
appropriate shared skills to support holistic assessments.

- Ensure training equipment and consumables are maintained. Monitor stock
levels and liaise with training team in regards ordering and restocking

line with current guidelines and best practice.

they personally use; And/or responsible for maintaining stock control and/or
security of stock.
Responsibility for Workforce and Operational
Issues:
- Works within the NMC Code of Practice.
- Ensure quality service delivery by developing and reviewing of

development, practice lead for nursing and operational mangers.
- Support on strategies to support Professional training and development
and Practice lead in the development of suitably skilled staff by using
workforce planning developments to support the development of sill mix
competency and development within the staff groups identified.

- Remain updated and competent and ensure that clinical practice is
