This is no ordinary role. The pace is fast. Lots of variety. Working with your practice lead colleagues across the whole of CMHS.
You shall be spending your time ensuring the service continues to develop therapeutic interventions working within a trauma informed service to support independence and recovery for individuals within their community. The team provide specialist clinical interventions & use a range of approaches to support service users, their carers & the wider network. Interventions are delivered on a 1-1 or group basis. We are seeking an enthusiastic & committed Practice Lead to join MAIS. To provide strong leadership, champion dignity, equality, diversity, choice & respect. As practice lead you will supervise, coach & develop a team of multi-disciplinary professionals, & maintain a high level of direct clinical contact. You will be able to offer consultation to other agencies to support them in working with service users.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied role and some experience of service and project management is desirable to evaluate outcomes and contribute to projects around service user involvement and staff well-being.
You will be working as an integral part of the service working closely with other statutory and non statutory services to provide specialist mental health assessment and evidenced based interventions. You will be joining the wider Community Mental Health Service management team, providing support to your colleagues within the Community Mental Health Team and wider internal services.

All staff are expected to able and willing to work across a 7 day service although this is currently a Monday to Friday 9-5 service.
