An opportunity has arisen within CAMHS we are looking to recruit a CBT IAPT Practitioner. The Practitioner will work across the CBT and Eating Disorder Pathways.
This role is central to the CAMHS strategy of collaboration to reduce health inequalities across the city as well as improving access to mental health services.
Main duties of the job
Livewell Southwest are looking for a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who have previous experience working within an IAPT service. As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, you will provide High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy within CAMHS mental health problems, including depression and a range of anxiety disorders. We are looking for person with energy, enthusiasm and a high level of skill and experience.
Plymouth CAMHS work within the ITHRIVE model of care. CAMHS work closely with partner agencies to improve health and social outcomes for children, young people and families across Plymouth.

To participate in annual appraisal with the team manager
Whilst maintaining clinical autonomy, to receive regular clinical supervision from an appropriately qualified and experienced supervisor and maintain the highest professional standards.
To be aware of current developments within the profession and to continue to maintain and further develop professional knowledge and skills.
To work with appropriate professional agencies.
Keep abreast, through study and attendance at National and Local conferences, of developments in CBT and pursue CPD as advised.
