At Provide Community Interest Company (CIC), we have an exciting opportunity for a highly accomplished and dedicated Healthcare professional. Our current Health CEO and Chief Nurse, Stephanie Dawe will retire early April 2024, in anticipation of her retirement we are now seeking to appoint to this very important Board, and Statutory Director role.

We are now looking to appoint a new CEO Health and Chief Nurse, a role critical to our business which will lead our Health Directorate, and provide the vision, leadership, and strategic direction to take the Directorate forward. Integral to our business, the role will contribute towards the organisation's 2024-2027 Business Strategy, and work as part of the Mid and South Essex Community Collaborative. The post plays a key role in the transformation, and development of services to reduce health inequalities, increase 'social value' and drive efficiencies, and will serve as an ambassador for Provide CIC in the Healthcare System, and have overall responsibility for the management and performance of our NHS contract.

Main duties of the job

As Chief Nurse, and named Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC), the post supports professional leadership and clinical oversight across Provide CIC (and its subsidiary companies), holding executive accountability for safety, quality, patient experience, and effectiveness.

If you possess the skills and knowledge required to be successful in this role, can build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and able to navigate competing stakeholder interests in order to secure the best outcomes for patients and service users, as well as, share the vision, mission, and values of our organisation, we would be delighted to hear from you. About us

Provide Community Interest Company (CIC), a Social Enterprise was established in 2011, however, across the last three years the organisation's Business Strategy, has moved from 'steady state' to a more progressive approach. Its 2021-2024 Corporate Strategy, sets out the plan for Provide CIC to diversify its business, and move from an organisation with slow organic growth, to one which is fast-paced and acquisitive.

As a dynamic, ambitious and evolving organisation, Provide CIC delivers a broad range of Health and Social Care support services. It has forged new, and innovative ways of delivering all aspects of its Community Services, which are high quality, responsive and safe, at our last CQC inspection in 2019 Provide CIC was rated as 'outstanding'. Although the organisation is a Social Enterprise, it is not a public sector organisation, it delivers public sector contracts, but is increasingly competing and operating in a commercial environment.

The organisation delivers more than forty services to children, families, and adults in a variety of settings, including Community Hospitals, Clinics, and Primary Care Settings, as well as in patients' homes. Headquartered in Colchester, with services across the UK, Provide CIC has an annual turnover of circa £100M and 1,350 colleagues committed to providing high quality care and support.
