Main duties of the job
The Project Officer will support the development and co-ordination of project plans related to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and health Inequalities, ensuring they are delivered within agreed timescales. They will act as a point of contact for key events and meetings, including making arrangements, action planning and providing meeting support.
The Project Officer will also be supporting the engagement of our local communities, organisational partners, and colleagues to engage to improve and develop how services are delivered.
The post-holder will be expected to work autonomously and undertake a wide variety of tasks including communicating with colleagues, external stakeholders, assisting with planning the delivery of current and new projects, organising meetings and events, producing key statutory documents, and preparing agendas and minutes.
The Project Officer will also be required to assist in the production of Board and committee reports and papers.

The Project Support Officer will be required to fully support the Reducing Inequalities Lead/Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Guardian on a range of projects and pieces of work to address health and workplace inequity for Nottingham CityCare. There will also be a requirement for the postholder will also support the EDI Manager with actions to support the EDI Strategy.

The postholder will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Reducing Inequalities Lead/FTSU Guardian and supporting the EDI Manager on key pieces of work.
- Lead on specific elements such as communications and management of data bases.
- The collection and analysis of data including the annual staff survey by protected characteristics, EDI surveys, evaluation from events, gender, ethnicity and disability pay gap and CQC requests.
- First point of contact for enquiries from employees and key stakeholders in relation to the work undertaken by the Reducing Inequalities Lead.
- To support the engagement activity of the local communities we serve and linking in with key individuals such as patient representatives.
- Take responsibility for using and updating the Freedom To Speak Up management system, ensuring information is compiled and updated accurately, and reports are provided in time at the direction of the project manager.
- Support the wider team around the inequalities and EDI agenda on a day-to-day basis monitoring and delivery of their specific project deliverables.
- Organise regular project monitoring meetings, plan presentations and coordinate a range of internal and external meetings.
- Produce audits and local surveys, collating and analysing data and producing reports
- Development of EDI tools and resources, maintaining the intranet pages and supporting staff network initiatives
