We require 1.4 WTE B5 Immunisation CPHNs and are looking to provide secondment opportunities. This is currently fixed term until 31/03/2026.

Role requirements: Previous immunisation & vaccination experience is not required as full training and support will be given to complete a competence assessment tool.

Please discuss this secondment opportunity with your management.

Main duties of the job

Pilot aim: The service aims to increase the current levels of protection from preventable childhood infections among children and young people in Nottingham City. This will be achieved by delivering a population wide, evidence-based immunisation programme including a range of childhood Immunisations as part of the complete routine immunisation schedule (UKHSA) within the 0-19 population.

Background: Nottingham City has significantly lower than average childhood immunisation rates across routine childhood and adolescent vaccinations as compared to the East Midlands and national rates.

The pilot is initially focusing on specified geographical PCN areas and will work closely with 0-19 children's services.

As part of a small team, the post holder will contribute to delivery of a population wide, evidence-based immunisation programme including administration of a range of childhood vaccinations as part of the complete routine immunisation schedule (UKHSA) within the 0-19 population in a variety of community settings including home environment.
