We have an exciting opportunity within Nottingham CityCares MOSAIC (Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Spinal, pain and Integrated Chronic fatigue syndrome) Service for MSK Band 5 Physiotherapists to join our team.
The MOSAIC Service takes pride in developing our staff, and as a band 5 physiotherapist, you will have the perfect opportunity to develop your career within a large, innovative, and friendly MSK team that consists of experienced Physiotherapists, Advanced Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Exercise Practitioners. As you join our team, not only will you have the guidance and supervision from our experienced staff, but you will also be able to develop your clinical skills within our MSK Triage Clinics, patient classes and external classes. Furthermore, as your career develops you will be able to tailor your career down MSK, orthopaedic, Pain or even within our FCP Service.

For the post you will need to demonstrate initiative and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must also be able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively, show flexible working within a team and demonstrate understanding of working in a community MSK clinic setting.
The ability to travel between clinic locations is essential. The MOSAIC Services working hours are between 07:45 and 6pm, 5 days per week, but we are open to flexible working patterns for the right candidate

MSK Triage assessment clinics.
Caseload management.
Exercise classes.
Supervision of junior staff.
Service improvement.
The ability to travel between clinic bases.

To participate actively in the services training strategy, including in-service training, Trust and multi-agency training.

To accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of clients and to organize this effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.
To demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice and make recommendations for change.
To be responsible for own Continuing Professional Development keeping abreast of new trends and developments, incorporating them into your work as necessary. Attend relevant conferences and internal training courses. Support more junior staff to do likewise.
To participate in the development of good practice for infection control within Nottingham CityCare Partnership under the guidance of the organizations policy and procedures.
To assist with development and participation in the teams audit projects, demonstrates the use of evidence based practice projects and outcome measures, either individually or with other senior therapists. To make recommendations for change.
To ensure the health & safety of staff and clients at all times in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and organizations policy and procedures. To adhere to all other Policies and Procedures.
