We are looking for talented, motivated people to join our community nursing services and help to deliver excellent quality healthcare to the people we serve.
We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurses to join our Community Nursing service working with people across our community in Nottingham City. We are a 24-hour service 7 days a week, and a variety of shifts are worked during this 24 hour period with full time/ part time hours/Flexible hours available. During this period, we provide nursing care for people registered with a City General Practitioner, both in their own homes and in Residential Care Homes, delivering End of Life Care, Catheter Care and attending to other urgent and non-urgent nursing needs ie Woundcare/medication administration/continence management.
During the daytime hours staff are expected to have access to their own vehicle to undertake home visits. (During certain hours of the evening/night time we travel and work in pairs to promote staff safety).
For many people in our care you will be an important lifeline for them, as such your communication and people skills are very important. You will have faith in your own initiative to deliver holistic care, as well as being able to contribute to a close, supportive team. You will need to be a car owner driver with a full, current driving licence.
