Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to become part of the growing rehabilitation service within Navigo.

As well as overseeing the quality, improvement and development of mental health rehabilitation across Navigo the post holder will be a key voice in supporting and ensuring there-patriation of individuals back to North East Lincolnshire and receiving services closer to home.

Main duties of the job

The role of Senior Operational manager for Rehabilitation provides clinical leadership, operational oversight and quality improvement across the rehabilitation pathway, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred rehabilitation services. The role focuses on ensuring quality compliance and governance of policies, guidance and procedures across the rehabilitation pathway. This covers both inpatient and community rehabilitation services.

Success in this role will be measured through achievement of defined outcomes and performance standards.

- Maintain 95% compliance with CQC standards across all services.

- Achieve and sustaining AIMs accreditation for Brocklesby Lodge.

- To prioritise developing an effective clinical dashboard.

Patient Outcomes & Experience

- To work in partnership with the Out of Area Rehabilitation Senior Operational Manager to develop an appropriate and representative outcome measurement approach

- Ensure 85% of patients meet rehabilitation goals at discharge

- Explore ongoing mental health service engagement or re-referral requirements for individuals who have had a period of rehabilitation.

- Actively engage with the rehabilitation (NAV4U) forum to ensure individual service user voices are embedded in any quality improvement initiatives.

- Increase service user participation in development of service/audits/reviews

Workforce & Leadership

- Review the job descriptions for all staff to ensure that they are KPI and rehabilitation focused, with clear differentiations between bandings.

- Review the interview process.

- Create developmental pathways for staff.

- Maintain 95% compliance with team mandatory training.

- Ensure 90% of staff have an up-to-date Personal Development Review.

- Ensure 90% of staff have effective supervision monthly which includes reflective practice to support learning.
