friendly and efficient admin team to support the Older People's Acute Mental
Health services.
Main duties of the job
This vacancy is a band 3 Clinical Team Secretary
position within the Older People's Acute Mental Health Services. The Post holder will support the inpatient
units with a variety of clerical tasks such as minute taking, scanning,
photocopying, word processing and data inputting/extraction on SystmOne. The
Post holder must therefore be an efficient administrator who is able to work well
on their own initiative as well as within the team. It is important they are able to communicate effectively
with the team, the wider organisation, Service Users and their families and
carers.

Job responsibilities
The Inpatient
Secretary will be to provide a secretarial, administrative and clerical support
service to the Clinical Acute Inpatient areas within Navigo.
The post-holder will receive, record and
process referral, admission and discharge information maintaining service user
records are up to date at all times.
The
post-holder will be responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge on Navigo
policies, process and procedures and working within these at all times.
The post
holder will be pivotal in ensuring an excellent administrative service is
provided within agreed set time restraints and will be responsible for accurate
recording, maintenance and monitoring of the Teams data.
The
post-holder will record and process referral data from Single Point of
Access/relevant health care professionals, as appropriate to the work of the
Team.
The
post-holder will undertake diary management to the clinical and medical team
and will undertake any other general administrative duties within the
requirements of the Team.
The
post-holder will undertake any other relevant duties required from time to time
as requested by Management which correspond to the general character of the
post and is commensurate with the level of responsibility
