Job summary
This is a unique opportunity to be part of EIP for one year to cover maternity leave. The EIP team is known throughout Navigo as going over and above board to support and advocate for the young people that use our services. We are all very passionate about what we do and our approach is to work in a responsive, outreach, assertive style. Our ethos is to provide hope and work in an open dialogue approach working with families. The team consists of a Team Lead, Administrator, Consultant, CBT therapist, Support/Peer Worker, and 5 Key Workers with various diverse skills and backgrounds, i.e. Occupational Therapist, Social Workers and Mental Health Nurses. This is a great opportunity to gain the knowledge and expertise of the team.
Main duties of the job
To provide tailor-made care co-ordination for people who have developed a First Episode of Psychosis (FEP) or who may have an At Risk Mental State (ARMS) at risk of developing psychosis. As part of this you will provide specialist evidence based clinical interventions to people and their families individually or as part of a wider team approach, dependent on the individual. You will support delivery of care in accordance with the Access and Waiting Times Standards for EIP. This is an amazing time to be joining us as we are expanding the team with a view to eventually increase the age range to include all working age adults.
The EIP Service uses a normalising approach to reduce stigma and distress and promote acceptance, tolerance and recovery. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, positive thinking and self-motivated individual who has an inclusive outlook on life.
